Getting to the Island
All guests will arrive through L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA), located in St. George’s Parish. The island is small and easy to navigate, with short drive times to all major hotels:
Grotto Bay Beach Resort – about 10 minutes from the airport
Rosewood Bermuda – about 15 minutes from the airport
Fairmont Southampton Princess – about 35 minutes from the airport
Once you land, you’ll clear customs and immigration — just be sure to have your passport and completed Guest Entry Form ready.
Be in the know.

All travelers entering Bermuda must have a valid passport that does not expire within six months of your travel dates. If yours is due to expire soon, we recommend renewing as early as possible — Bermuda’s entry requirements are strict, and airlines may deny boarding if your passport is too close to expiration.
In addition, Bermuda requires all visitors to complete a short Guest Entry Form prior to arrival. This helps streamline your entry process at the airport. You can complete the form online using the link below — it only takes a few minutes.

Bermuda’s local currency is the Bermudian Dollar (BMD), which is equivalent in value to the U.S. Dollar. Both are accepted everywhere on the island, so there’s no need to exchange cash before you arrive.
Most restaurants, shops, and hotels accept major credit cards. ATMs are available, but keep in mind that some may charge international withdrawal fees.
Tipping customs are similar to the U.S. — most restaurants automatically include a 15–17% service charge, so check your bill before adding extra.
If you prefer to have some cash on hand for taxis or small vendors, U.S. dollars work just fine.

Bermuda is small, scenic, and easy to explore, but a little different from what most travelers are used to! Visitors cannot rent standard cars, so transportation works a bit differently here.
The best options for getting around include:
Taxis: Readily available across the island and at major hotels.
Electric Rental Vehicles: Compact two-seaters and scooters are a fun and flexible option for short trips.
The Hitch App: Bermuda’s version of Uber download Hitch to easily book rides anywhere on the island.
Ferries & Buses: A scenic and affordable way to travel between Hamilton, Dockyard, and St. George’s.
Most guests will not need a vehicle during the wedding weekend, transportation will be provided for the main events.
